Our Process- What to Expect
Your Vision
In our initial meeting, we’ll explore your vision for your home, including your needs, preferences, & overall goals. We’ll review your Pinterest boards together & discuss your budget. From this meeting, both parties have a clear sense of whether Black Anvil is the right fit for your home project.
Design Consult
We will schedule a design meeting to gather key information & define your space requirements. We’ll discuss design inspiration & budget considerations. Once we have gathered the basic information, we will develop a custom design concept that fits the vision & needs for your home.
Design Development
Once you have approved the initial plan & design concept, we will create a 3D rendering of the space & layout for you to be able to visualize the space or home. We will work with you to fine tune any details related to your project & tailor concepts to your specific needs.
Proposal
After the initial design meetings, if you determine that Black Anvil is the right fit for you, we’ll return with a detailed proposal based on a cost-plus contract. We’ll work within your budget to develop a plan that aligns with both the design & vision you shared with us.
Construction
Once the proposal is signed, construction on your home will be underway. Permits & any required documents will be submitted before any construction begins. Timelines vary by project, but work will be consistently underway throughout the construction process.
Completion
In the final phase of your project, we collaborate with the designer to bring your vision to life. Finishes are installed throughout the home, loose ends are tied up & we handle the remaining details to ensure everything is complete & ready for you to enjoy your new space.
